Your first site in 5 minutes
WebBuilder generates a complete professional website from a short description of your business. This guide walks you from sign-up to a live, hosted site.
What you need
- An email address (for your free account)
- Your business name and a one-sentence description
- A rough idea of your industry and the tone you want (professional, friendly, bold, etc.)
No credit card required for the free tier.
Create your account
Go to app.webbuilder.agency and enter your email address. We'll send you a magic link — no password to set. Click the link in the email to sign in. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds.
Fill in the brief
After signing in, click Generate a site. You'll see a short form with five fields:
Business name
Your trading name. E.g. Sutherland & Sons Plumbing
Industry
Pick the closest match from the list — this shapes the copy style, section layout, and images WebBuilder generates.
Services
A comma-separated list of what you offer. Three to five is ideal. E.g. emergency callouts, boiler installation, bathroom fitting
Tone
How you want the copy to feel: professional, friendly, bold, premium, approachable. When in doubt, professional works for most businesses.
Description
One to three sentences about your business. Include what makes you different, who you serve, and where you're based. The more specific you are, the better the generated copy.
Generate
Click Generate site. WebBuilder will:
- →Research industry patterns for your category
- →Write copy specific to your business (not generic filler)
- →Select a colour palette and typography matched to your tone
- →Generate professional images (Pro and Agency tiers)
- →Score the output for quality and flag any gaps
This takes about 60–90 seconds. A progress bar shows each stage as it completes.
Review and refine
A preview of the full site loads when generation is complete. Scroll through it and check the copy, layout, and design.
Happy with a section? No action needed — it's saved.
Want to change a section? Rate it with a thumbs down and it will regenerate automatically with a revised brief.
Want a different feel? Use a wishlist prompt — type something like “make it feel more premium” and WebBuilder will adjust the visual direction.
Publish
When you're happy, click Publish. Your site goes live on a your-name.webbuilder.digital subdomain within a few seconds.
What's included on each tier:
Upgrade at any time from the Account page. No pro-rata charges — the new tier takes effect immediately.
Tips for better results
- →Be specific in your description. “Family-run plumber serving East London, 24-hour callouts, 10+ years experience” beats “a plumbing company”.
- →List real services, not categories. “boiler installation, power flushing, leak detection” gives the AI better material to write from than “plumbing services”.
- →Regenerate freely. Free tier gets 3 generations per month. Each one can be meaningfully different if you adjust the brief or tone.
- →Use section regeneration. If one section is off but the rest is good, thumbs-down that section only — the rest of the site stays intact.
